What is it?
TwitterFox is a firefox addon that is very unobtrusive and delivers a pack of Twitter functionality unbelievably well. Most notable of these are:
- you can specify how often to update your twitter feed
- if you post a twitter msg, it updates almost instantaneously
- you can manage more than one twitter account without the hassle of logging in / logging out
- posted links open directly in Firefox, supports http://, @, but not #
- ‘mentions’ shows when your handle is mentioned via @ – in a word, it’s reverse@ lookup.
- private messages support is also available
- button to suck currently opened URL into twitter post. hit enter to submit post.
